Consulting for small and medium businesses

Delivery rhythm for teams of 10 to 100 that have outgrown "we just talk."

I help founders, COOs, and heads of engineering ship predictably, without growing a project-management bureaucracy. Methods refined across a decade in banking, sized for your small or medium team.

Four engagements

Pick the one closest to where you are.

Scoped to start within four weeks, ship within twelve, and leave behind an operating model your team runs without me.

  1. Engagement 6 to 12 weeks

    Delivery Operations Setup

A delivery rhythm your team can run on a Monday morning.

    Outcome
A clear intake-to-ship pipeline a 20 to 100 person team can run, without three layers of project management on top.
    For whom
Founders, COOs, and heads of engineering whose team has outgrown "we just talk in Slack" but cannot stomach an enterprise PMO.
    Engagement shape
Intake redesign, a single source-of-truth board, prioritisation cadence, a weekly drumbeat, and a short ops playbook the team actually reads.

    You’re probably saying things like

    • We keep shipping the wrong thing first.
    • Standups have become status theatre.
    • A roadmap update kicks off a two-day fire drill.
  2. Engagement 6 to 12 weeks

    Agile & Kanban for Growth

Predictable delivery without the SAFe industrial complex.

    Outcome
Sprints that finish, dashboards that match reality, a team shipping at a sustainable pace, not at 11 PM the night before the demo.
    For whom
Engineering teams of 8 to 50 at start-ups and scale-ups where "being Agile" has become a vibe more than a system.
    Engagement shape
Hands-on coaching, queue metrics in Linear, Jira or Notion, retros that change behaviour, and a written capacity model.

    You’re probably saying things like

    • Velocity does not predict anything any more.
    • We have stand-up four times a day and still ship surprises.
    • Planning is creative writing.
  3. Engagement 4 to 8 weeks

    Founder & CEO Reporting

A weekly read your CEO actually opens.

    Outcome
One page. The right four numbers. The conversation it triggers each Monday morning. No more 40-slide read-alongs.
    For whom
Heads of product, COOs, and chiefs of staff who own the cadence of leadership conversations and want them sharper.
    Engagement shape
Source-of-truth audit, one-page dashboard build, AI-assisted prep, cadence rewrite, and a hand-off doc your next operator can pick up.

    You’re probably saying things like

    • Our leadership meeting is a 40-slide read-along.
    • We do not trust the numbers in our own dashboard.
    • Our CEO asks the same five questions every Monday.
  4. Engagement 1 to 2 days a week

    Fractional Delivery Lead

A senior delivery brain, on the days you need one.

    Outcome
A senior delivery lead embedded alongside your team, without the cost of a full-time VP. The point is to build it, run it, and hand it back.
    For whom
Small and medium businesses with 10 to 100 people that need senior delivery thinking now, but cannot yet justify a full-time hire.
    Engagement shape
Fixed monthly fee, 1 to 2 days a week, ops playbook from week one, exit criteria agreed by month three.

    You’re probably saying things like

    • We need a senior delivery hand but cannot justify the salary.
    • Our engineering manager is great but new to scaling delivery.
    • We keep losing time to coordination overhead.

How an engagement works

Four steps, no surprises.

  1. Discovery call

    20 minutes, free

A short call to read the shape of the problem. If I am not the right person, I say so on the call and point you to who is.

  2. Quick read

1 to 2 weeks, fixed fee

A short, paid read of where your team actually is, not where the org chart says it is. Exits with a written proposal you can take to your board.

  3. Delivery chapter

    4 to 12 weeks

Milestone-based work with measurable exit criteria, agreed up front. No hourly billing, no scope creep by accident.

  4. Documented handoff

    Built in from week one

You leave with an ops playbook your team runs without me. The point is durability, not recurring dependency.

Most delivery problems are not Agile maturity problems. They are clarity problems: who decides, on what evidence, in what timeframe.

Frequently asked

Things people ask before the call.

We are a 25-person startup, are we too small?

No. Most of the work I take on is with teams between 10 and 100 people. The methods scale down cleanly. The trick is sizing the operating model to the team you have today, with one notch of headroom for the team you will have next year, not the team a SAFe textbook describes.

We do not have a PMO. Is that a problem?

It is usually an advantage. Most healthy SMBs do not need a PMO. They need a delivery operating model: how work enters, gets sized, gets prioritised, and gets shipped. We build the lightest version that holds, in your existing tools, without inventing a new department.

What does pricing look like?

Fixed-fee scoping engagements and milestone-based delivery work. Fractional engagements are a fixed monthly retainer. I do not bill hourly. I share rates after the discovery call, once we know what shape the work needs to take.

How does an engagement typically start?

A short discovery call, then a short paid read of where the team actually is. Most of the value comes from a clear-eyed read. After that we agree on a 4 to 12 week first chapter with measurable exit criteria.

Do you work remote or on site?

Both. Remote-first with periodic on-site weeks for kickoffs, workshops, and handoffs. I am based in Montréal and travel comfortably to New York, Toronto, and London.

In what languages can you operate?

Native English and French, professional Spanish. Bilingual workshops, written deliverables, and executive briefings are all in scope.

Next step

Two ways to start.

If you want a quick read

Book a 20 minute fit call

I will tell you on the call whether I am the right person, and if not, who is. No deck, no follow-up slide unless we both think there is something there.

Three sentences is fine. Five paragraphs is also fine. I read everything personally and reply within two business days with an honest read.
